Spaghetti Sauce (Crockpot Friendly)
Spaghetti sauce recipe using the stovetop or crockpot.
Servings: 6 servings
- 2 can Tomato Sauce 14.5 oz
- 1 can Tomato Paste 6 oz
- 2 cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 3/4 tsp Dried Basil add an extra 1/4for stronger flavor
- 3/4 tsp Oregano add an extra 1/4for stronger flavor
- 1/2 tsp Ground Thyme
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Dump everything into a crockpot (or medium size pan if you're using the stove) and stir until fully combined.
Cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. If you're using the stovetop method, bring the mixture to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and cover the pot. Let cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Taste Test - add additional seasonings to get the exact taste you like (We heavy up on the garlic).
Use immediately or store in the refrigerator up to 3 days. This will keep in the freezer for a month.
