Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta to al dente (reference the back of the pasta package for exact cook time). Reserve 1 cup of pasta water then drain the pasta.
While the pasta is boiling, melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
Turn heat to low and stir in the Boursin cheese, until fully melted. Taste and add salt and black pepper. Add the drained and cooked pasta and toss to combine.
Transfer to individual serving bowls and garnish with more parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve immediately for best texture.
Notes
Note 1 - Most pasta noodles will work. Fettuccine, linguine, spaghetti, rotini, rigatoni, and penne, all make great options.Note 2 - I highly recommend Garlic & Fine Herbs or Shallot and Chives.Leftover and storage - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
