Ingredients
½cupall purpose flour
2tbspchicken bouillon powder
1tbspcornstarch
½tbsponion powder
¼tspgarlic powder
¼tsppoultry seasoning
⅛tspground thyme or rosemary
⅛tspblack pepper
CHICKEN GRAVY USING THE MIX
2tbspbutter
2-3tbspdry chicken gravy mix
1cupwater, chicken broth, pan drippings*Note 1
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and use a whisk to combine. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
MAKE THE CHICKEN GRAVY
Add butter to a small skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Once melted add 2-3 tablespoons of the gravy mix, whisking constantly for 2-3 minutes.
Turn the heat to medium-high and slowly add the broth, whisking constantly. Bring to a boil before reducing down to medium-low. Simmer for 4-5 minutes, until the proper gravy consistency is achieved.
