Ingredients
Pasta Salad:
16ozmedium pasta shells or elbow macaroni*Note 1
14ozcrab meat, chopped into bite size pieces*Note 2
Cook pasta al dente, according to the package directions. Transfer the shells to a colander and run under cold water to stop the cooking. Transfer to a large mixing bowl
Add the crab, onion, celery, bell pepper, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, dijon mustard, salt and pepper to the bowl and toss well to combine.
Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Note 1 - While I recommend sticking to shells or macaroni, you can sub in your favorite pasta shape.Note 2 - You can use real crab or imitation crab. If using imitation crab, you can use the sticks or flake shape.Note 3 - Use your favorite brand of mayo. If you use a sub-par brand the final product will suffer.Note 4 - If you only have dried dill, add in 1 teaspoon. Note 5 - Use fresh lemon juice vs bottled lemon juice.Note 6 - If you don't have white pepper, replace with the same amount of black pepper.
