Ingredients
½cupUnsalted Butter*Note 1
1½-2tbspMinced Garlic*Note 2
1tbspFresh Lemon Juice*Note 3
2tspGarlic Powder
½tspSalt
Optional: Chopped Parsley*Note 4
Instructions
Pre-heat a small saucepan over low heat and add the butter.
Once the butter is melted, add the garlic, lemon juice, garlic powder and salt and whisk to combine. Cook for 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat, add parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
Notes
Note 1 - If using salted butter, omit half a teaspoon of salt or adjust to taste.Note 1 - If you're of the belief drawn butter recipes should be made with clarified butter, use ghee instead of regular butter.Note 2 - Start with 1.5 tbsp minced garlic and add up to .5 tbsp more if you like a strong garlic flavor.Note 3 - Do not replace with bottled lemon juice. If that's all you have, omit all together.Note 4 - Parsley adds some color and a bit of herbaceous flavor to the dipping sauce.
