Whip out the molcajete, the traditional Mexican mortar and pestle, and whip up a batch of molcajete guacamole in under 10 minutes! It's as easy to make as 4 ingredient guacamole.
Add the onion, jalapeños, garlic, and salt to the molcajete and use the pestle to grind into a paste.
Add the flesh of the avocados to the molcajete and use the pestle to mash and mix into the onion/garlic paste.
Add the lime juice and cilantro and use a large spoon to fold into the guacamole.
Taste and adjust ingredients to suit your preference. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
Notes
Note 1 - If you like spicy guacamole, use 2 tbsp. of jalapeno peppers. Note 2 - Salt level will depend on what you're serving the guacamole with. Some tortilla chips are super salty so you don't need as much salt in the guacamole. I start with 1/2 tsp and go up from there.
