Christmas Simmer Pot

Christmas Simmer Pot

Christmas Simmer Pot

There’s nothing that Decks the Halls quite like smelling holiday and winter scents….pine, cranberry, citrus, cinnamon and everything cozy. Every year we break out our 2 qt. saucepan or slow cooker and create our own Christmas Simmer Pot; think oozing holiday scents indoors, all day!

simmerpot

The best thing about this Christmas Simmer Pot is the flexibility of it. Have apples leftover from making apple recipes? Dice them up and throw them in. Have stray pine needles from dragging in your Christmas Tree? Pick up those bad boys and throw them in too.

Make sure to keep tabs on the simmer pot should you decide to use the stovetop.

I made this today with an addition of some dried rose petals I had and some small branches from the bottom of our Christmas tree. Our house smells amazing!
