Pineapple Martini

This cocktail recipe is the perfect blend of fruity flavors. As mentioned, only a few simple ingredients are required to make this pineapple cocktail.

Vodka – Plain vodka is the go-to flavor, but vanilla vodka, whipped cream vodka or even birthday cake-flavored vodka would taste amazing in vodka recipes.

Pineapple Juice – Canned or fresh pineapple juice works well, but fresh and 100% real fruit juice works best. Grab a filtered juice for a smoother texture.

Garnish – While not required, we love topping pineapple drinks with a pineapple wedge, lime wedge, or a maraschino cherry. You can even add sugar to the rim of the glass.

Best Vodka For Martinis

We always recommend avoiding low shelf brands as leave horrible aftertastes. When you’re working with minimal ingredients, you want to make sure your ingredients are legit!

Our favorite mid-level vodka brands: SKYY Vodka, Deep Eddy’s, absolut vodka, and Smirnoff.

Variations

Upside-down Pineapple Martini – to turn into an upside down pineapple martini, just add a splash of grenadine for the cherry flavor.

Pina Colada Martini – use coconut vodka, coconut tequila, or even coconut rum, in place of regular tequila.

Spicy – add a few slices of jalapeño pepper to the shaker for a spicy twist.

Double The Flavor Use pineapple vodka for a double hit of tropical flavor.

Bartender Tips

  • Chill the juice and vodka before making for the best final temperature and taste.
  • Use a chilled martini glass to help keep it cold.
  • To turn this  into a party punch, add the vodka and juice to a large pitcher. When ready to serve transfer, in small batches, to a cocktail shaker and shake it up. Top with grenadine and maraschino cherries.
  • If you have leftover pineapple juice, consider making this French Martini Recipe Chambord Cocktail.
